Area 1 was presented at the United Nations Global Festival of Action last week.

Area 1 is an immersive experience following the chain of international investment to a gold mining project in Northern Guinea that violently displaced a local community. The piece seeks to demonstrate the crucial role of investors and stakeholders in violations that can occur in “development” projects and advocates for responsible investment.
